Hi! For this video I was inspired to conduct an interview with my dear friend Tianna and ask her about one of the greatest things she has won in her life – winning player of the year for soccer! Listening to Tianna reflect on this achievement made it super clear about how hard she had worked, and how dedicated she was to her soccer carrer. In our interview she didn’t just focus on the award itself, but the long journey it took that was filled with early mornings, long days and how she went above and beyond to push herself.

In the video you’ll actually hear Tianna describe feeling completely shocked when her name was called at her award ceremony. Listening to her talk about how surreal it was when she won was truly inspiring and it felt motivating. Tianna had faced a lot of major challenges leading up to that award ceremony. She talked about her bad knee injury that she had experienced during her junior year and went on to explain that even though it set her back she continued to push herself harder and harder each day and this is why she got to play division one soccer.

Her story is a very powerful reminder that hard work pays off! Who doesn’t love a little motivation- I know I do! I truly have always been inspired by the resilience Tianna has which is a big reason I wanted to share her story with you. I think stories like this is what continue to push all of us to greatness, and I hope it can give you some inspiration to chase your dreams no matter what! Life is too short to not get back up and keep going!
